Deep Pour Epoxy Resin for River Table Kit

3:1 Mass Mixing Ratio // Low Exotherm Mass Casting Formulation

PureEpox Deep Pour Epoxy is a professional-grade two-component casting system specifically formulated for deep river channels in live-edge wood furniture, artistic mass casting, and void encapsulation.

Engineered with high-grade cycloaliphatic and aliphatic amine hardeners, this formulation features an exceptionally low exothermic peak and extended open time (6-10 hours), allowing trapped micro-bubbles to release naturally without forced torch heating.

  • Single-Pour Safe Depth: Up to 30 mm in non-insulative molds, and up to 20 mm adjacent to thermal-insulating solid timber slabs.
  • Optically Pure Transparency: Refractive index matching optical glass, with built-in UV absorbers resisting ambering.
  • Dimensional Stability: Shrinkage below 0.3%, preventing live-edge delamination and tension cracking.

Deep Pour Epoxy Resin for River Table Kit

3:1 Mass Mixing Ratio // Low Exotherm Mass Casting Formulation

Q1: Why must Part A and Part B be mixed strictly by weight?

Because Part A (epoxy resin) and Part B (polyetheramine curing agent) possess different specific gravities. Measuring by volume will introduce substantial stoichiometric errors, leading to tacky surfaces or premature thermal exotherm.

Q2: What causes bubbling or milky discoloration in river tables?

Discoloration is predominantly caused by timber moisture content exceeding 12%, or omitting the vital wood capillary seal coat prior to the main pour.

Q3: Can I pour greater than 30 mm in a single pass?

If ambient temperature is above 24°C, pouring deeper than 20–22 mm against insulating hardwoods increases exothermic runaway risks. Multi-tier pours (wait 24h until gelatinous) are strongly advised for deeper voids.

Deep Pour Epoxy Resin for River Table Kit

3:1 Mass Mixing Ratio // Low Exotherm Mass Casting Formulation

1. Timber Preparation: Kiln-dry wood to 8–12% moisture. Plane surfaces and apply a thin seal coat over all live edges to seal wood outgassing pores.
2. Mold Construction: Seal melamine box corners with neutral silicone. Line inner mold with polypropylene release tape. Clamp wood slabs firmly to resist resin buoyancy.
3. Mixing & Pouring: Weigh A:B at 3:1 ratio. Stir slowly for 3–5 minutes scraping container walls. Pour gently into the lowest point of the mold. Demold after 3–4 days; wait 7 days before routing or wet sanding.

Hazard & PPE Safety Guidelines (GHS Compliant)

Part A contains bisphenol-A epoxy resin (skin sensitizer). Part B contains polyetheramine hardener (corrosive). Operate in a well-ventilated workshop.

  • Wear nitrile gloves, splash safety goggles, and organic vapor respirators during dispensing.
  • In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. Never clean skin with acetone.

Quartz Self-Leveling Epoxy Flooring System

High-Build Seamless Terrazzo // Sintered Ceramic Quartz Matrix

Q1: How does self-leveling quartz differ from rolled epoxy paint?

Self-leveling quartz creates a monolithic high-build layer (2–5 mm) with extraordinary impact tolerance and compressive load capacity, compared to thin-film paints (0.2–0.3 mm) which wear down quickly.

Q2: Is the surface slip-resistant?

Yes. The natural profile of sintered quartz locked in clear resin delivers balanced wet and dry traction exceeding ADA slip requirements without compromising cleanability.

Phase 1: Profiling & Priming: Diamond grind concrete to CSP 3. Apply penetrating primer to seal substrate air pores.
Phase 2: Slurry Leveling: Mix A & B, blend in graded quartz granules, pull with gauge rake to specified depth, and de-aerate with spiked roller.
Phase 3: Topcoat: Allow 16–24h cure, then roll clear abrasion-resistant topcoat. Foot traffic ready in 24 hours.

Ultra-Clear Arts & Crafts Epoxy Resin

3:1 Weight Ratio // Crystal-Clear Self-Leveling DIY Resin

Q1: What can Arts & Crafts Epoxy Resin be used for?

It is designed for DIY crafts, resin art, jewelry, silicone molds, coasters, decorative coating, wood, canvas, glass, MDF boards, and photo protection.

Q2: How can bubbles be reduced?

Mix slowly in one direction and allow the mixed resin to rest for several minutes before pouring so trapped air can release naturally.

Q3: Can pigments be added?

Yes. Epoxy-compatible resin pigments, mica powders, and decorative inclusions may be blended into the mixed resin.

Q4: Is it suitable for river tables or deep casting?

No. This formula is intended for crafts, jewelry, molds, and decorative coating. Use the dedicated River Table Epoxy for deep-pour projects.

Ultra-Clear Arts & Crafts Epoxy Resin

3:1 Weight Ratio // Crystal-Clear Self-Leveling DIY Resin

Step 1: Prepare & Measure: Ensure the surface or mold is clean, dry, and dust-free. Weigh Resin A and Hardener B accurately at 3:1 by weight.
Step 2: Mix & Defoam: Stir slowly in one direction for 3–5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom. Allow the mixture to rest briefly so bubbles can rise.
Step 3: Add Color, Pour & Cure: Add compatible pigments or mica if required, pour within the approximately 40-minute working window, and protect from dust during the approximately 24-hour cure.

Pebble Stone Polyurethane Binder System

UV-Stable Aliphatic Polyurethane // Permeable SUDS Aggregate Surfacing

Q1: Why must gravel aggregates be 100% dry and dust-free?

Moisture reacts aggressively with polyurethane prepolymers, generating carbon dioxide gas that causes foaming, cloudiness, and bond destruction.

Q2: Can ordinary concrete mixers be used?

No. A forced-action pan mixer is required to ensure every gravel facet is thoroughly coated with resin in 3–4 minutes without grinding stone fines.
