Engineering Matrix & Installation Steps
Precision execution guidelines to guarantee lasting aggregate bonding, void openness, and long-term durability:
- Substrate & Stone Moisture (< 0.5%): Aggregate must be thoroughly kiln-dried. Substrate concrete or asphalt must be stable and dry before application.
- Forced-Action Mechanical Mixing: Blend Resin Part A and Part B (2:1 by weight) for 2 minutes, then introduce into a forced-action paddle mixer with aggregates for 3–4 minutes.
- Calculated Aggregate Ratio: Standard binding ratio is 5.5% to 7.0% resin by weight (typically 15kg stone per 0.85kg–1.0kg mixed resin).
- Hand Screed & Float Compact: Hand-trowel firmly with a steel float using release agent to compact gravel particles into a continuous uniform plane.
